Incentive Distribution Definiton


In Voucherify, distribution is the act of sending promo messages that include unique codes (coupons, gift cards, loyalty cards, referral codes), inform customers about new promo campaigns, or carry other content. 

How does Voucherify manage incentive distribution?

With API, users can plug Voucherify into any preferred distribution channel which allows businesses to keep their messaging consistent. Voucherify offers a set of native integrations with popular messaging tools. Voucherify also offers webhooks to send real-time notifications to selected URLs informing users about specific events. 

However, the most important distribution feature is the Distribution Manager which can be accessed via a web dashboard. Distribution can take two forms:

  • Automatic – acts as a continuous stream of messages each time distribution is triggered. It can be triggered by a variety of triggers, including custom events
  • Manual – targets only specific customers (individuals or segments), it is a one-time action.
