Q2 2026 product update: Formula builder and Vincent’s new friends

Julia Gaj
June 23, 2026
  • The formula builder no longer requires a PhD in bracket placement.
  • New loyalty module keeps growing with more options to control earning and spending.
  • Vincent got Braze and Bloomreach access, so it can finally connect engagement data to incentive decisions without you doing it manually.

Q2 was a big delivery quarter: New loyalty features keep rolling out, the formula builder got a complete overhaul, and Vincent picked up its first external connectors.

For the full list, check the changelog.

New formula builder

If writing discount formulas has ever felt like defusing a bomb (one wrong bracket and nothing works), this update is for you.

The formula editor is now inline (no more pop-up dialog), expands as you type, and autocompletes variable names, metadata fields, and functions. More importantly, it comes with a set of ready-made templates for the most common formula patterns. Pick one that's close to what you need, tweak it, done.

Example of new discount formula builder

For anything more complex, there's now a visual tree view. If your formula has nested IF or SWITCH logic, you can open it as an interactive graph that shows each branch clearly, stays in sync with the text as you edit, and makes it obvious which condition covers which case.

Loyalty 2.0: Examine earnings

The new Examine endpoint runs a dry-run estimation of how many points a member would earn from a given event, without touching any balances. Think of it as a preview mode for your earning rules.

Loyalty examine qualification endpoint

Three things you can do with it that you couldn't easily do before:

  • Show an earn preview at checkout. "You'll earn 225 points on this order" before the purchase, not after.
  • Debug earning rules before they go live.
  • Give Vincent a pre-flight check. Before proposing a campaign change, Vincent can verify the earning outcome matches the intended scenario.

Vincent’s new friends: Braze and Bloomreach

Vincent now reads from both Braze and Bloomreach, which changes what it can factor into incentive decisions.

With the Braze connector, Vincent can pull engagement data (open rates, click rates, campaign performance) and combine it with your promo analytics.

With Bloomreach, Vincent can work with your Bloomreach segments directly. Instead of recreating audience definitions in Voucherify, you can point Vincent at an existing Bloomreach segment and use it as the basis for a campaign or earning rule.

Both connectors are read-only for now. As always, any change Vincent proposes requires explicit approval before it runs.

More from Q2

  • Approval workflows for validation rules: When you update validation rules inside the campaign editor, Voucherify now creates an approval request automatically.
  • Reward redemption webhooks: Distributions can now trigger webhooks on reward redemption. Useful for any downstream tool that needs to react immediately when a reward is redeemed.
  • Add the same items as ordered: A new discount effect for Rewards and Buy X Get Y campaigns. Instead of listing every eligible free SKU, Voucherify checks what's already in the cart, finds matching items from the product collection, and adds the free version automatically.
  • Metadata schema API: Four new public endpoints for managing metadata schemas with standard project-level API keys: GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE.
  • Standalone campaigns via API: Standalone campaigns can now be created through API.

What's coming in Q3?

The updated loyalty module will keep expanding:

  • More earning and spending limits: finer-grained controls on what members can earn and spend per specific time window.
  • Workflows replacing distributions: This is a meaningful change to how automated loyalty actions get configured.

On the connectivity side:

  • Vincent & Bloomreach Loomi connector: More options for Vincent to work with your Bloomreach data.
  • A new version of the OAuth 2.0 flow is coming.

This quarter, we wrote some stuff you might find interesting:

New customer stories

Blacklane

The global chauffeur service (500+ cities, acquired by Uber) was running incentives through an in-house system that couldn't handle car-class filtering, budget caps, or A/B testing.

With Voucherify and Braze, the CRM team built a consecutive journey mechanic: each completed booking unlocks the next incentive, pulling guests through a multi-step sequence rather than a one-off discount. Result: double-digit increase in average revenue per guest, 50% faster time to launch for new incentives.

Altitude Sports

The Canadian outdoor retailer runs 10+ campaign types simultaneously across two storefronts and 2.8 million SKUs. Altitude became the first live Vincent implementation, using it to generate compensation vouchers on the spot for customer support and to set up campaigns directly from a natural language brief.

Coupon generation that used to take 4 minutes now takes 1, campaign setup that needed a two-day engineering turnaround now takes minutes.
