Formulas aren’t just for discounts anymore. Now you can apply them to loyalty point calculations, too. Create reward logic that reflects customer value, order size, or market, no custom code required. Some use cases include:

Our new Qualification API calculates estimated loyalty points at checkout, based on current campaign rules. Feed it customer + order data, and it returns the exact number of points they'd earn, helping you drive conversions with real-time rewards.
You might’ve missed them, but two loyalty features got a quiet upgrade this quarter.
Running a limited drop? Keep margins in check with new per-customer and per-campaign caps.
Set a strict 1-item-per-customer rule: John gets his single pair at 10% off, but if he loads up his cart “for the group chat”? Nice try, full price. You can also cap the entire promotion at 200 units, ensuring the deal ends the moment your limit is hit. Whether you're fending off Vinted flippers or just preserving margins, these caps give you control where it counts.

We upgraded our bundle engine with multiplication logic, so discounts scale with quantity.
For example, if you buy 1 burger, you get 1 cola. Buy 3 burgers? You get 3 colas. Buy 3 fruits once? $4 off. Buy 3 fruits three times? You get $12 off.
Now the reward isn’t limited to a single bundle match, it keeps scaling, so the more qualifying items in the cart, the more rewards/discounts the customer gets.
You now design your own webhook payloads. Define what’s sent, remove what’s not, and reuse templates across events. Combine static fields with dynamic metadata, and stop wasting time filtering noise.
Plus, we improved the payload viewer: formatted, color-coded JSON so you can quickly validate outputs.

Customer.io gives you event-driven automation and messaging journeys based on first-party data. Now, you can launch campaigns that send Voucherify codes, gift cards, or loyalty points based on customer behavior, like joining a VIP tier or abandoning a cart, while tying message engagement back to redemptions.
