Mystery coupons

Runa gamified coupon giveaway where customers draw a mystery discount and receive one randomly assigned coupon value.
Table of contents

Create a coupon campaign where customers receive a randomly assigned discount without knowing the value in advance. In this recipe, customers draw one deal out of three possible coupon values, 5%, 10%, or 20%, and each participant gets one randomly assigned coupon.

Why use it?

This setup helps gamify a standard coupon campaign and makes the promotion feel more interactive and exciting than a fixed discount. The surprise element can increase engagement and make customers more likely to redeem the reward.

How it works?

Customers take part in a one-time draw on your website and receive one coupon with a randomly assigned value. In Voucherify’s example, everyone who participates gets one coupon, but they can only join the draw once.

Best practices

Integrate with Wyng to run the giveaway, tracking customer IDs so each person can interact with the draw only once, and limiting code use to once per customer to prevent repeat redemptions across multiple codes.

Are you optimizing your incentives or just running them?
